Rev. Dr. Thomas F. Taylor
President and Chief Executive Office of the Presbyterian Foundation

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts (with honors) from the University of Illinois - Urbana, a Masters of Divinity from Yale University Divinity School, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law, and a Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary. Tom also studied in Germany where he received PNdS in German language proficiency from the University of Aachen.

Tom has published numerous academic and popular articles on the interaction of Christian faith, law and culture. His books include the award-winning Seven Deadly Lawsuits: How Ministers can Avoid Litigation and Regulation (Abingdon Press 1996) and Paradoxy: Coming to Grips with the Contradictions of Jesus (Baker Books 2006).


Timothy Clark
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Presbyterian Foundation

Tim is the Chief Operating Officer of New Covenant Trust Company. He is a member at Second Presbyterian Church. He is an elder and former member of the Endowment Committee at First Presbyterian Church in Alma, Michigan. Tim is a former Board Chair of the Presbyterian Foundation. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University.


Marilee Hopkins

Marilee is a CPA and has practiced public accounting for more than 30 years before retiring in 2011. She continues in a consulting capacity for Crowe Horwath LLP where she is the partner in charge of the forensic practice. Marilee served the Presbyterian Foundation as board chair from 2014-2016.


Dr. Joseph D. Small

Joseph D. Small served as director of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Office of Theology and Worship from 1989-2011. He is now adjunct faculty at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, and church relations consultant to the Presbyterian Foundation. He serves on the board of the Center for Catholic and Evangelical Theology, and is co-chair of the international Reformed-Pentecostal Dialogue. He participates in international ecumenical consultations sponsored by the World Council of Churches, the World Communion of Reformed Churches, and the Centre International Reformé. Dr. Small is the author of numerous books, monographs, book chapters, journal articles, study series, and theological papers.


Rev. Dr. Paul H. Lang

Paul H. Lang is Head of Staff at First Presbyterian Church in Fargo, North Dakota. A graduate of Furman University (BA Music), Paul continued his studies at Columbia Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity degree in 1993, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2003.

In recent years, he coauthored a book with Ben Johnson on making a personal retreat (Time Away, published by Upper Room: 2010), and has focused on spiritual formation and leadership development in the church. He has been an instructor at Montreat and for the Synod of Lakes and Prairies Synod School, the Presbytery of Northern Plains, and continues to write and teach in a variety of other settings around the country.
